Flashing brake light under emergency braking
Under hard braking the brake lights flash like a strobe and warn the drivers behind.
Animated greeting in the rear parking lights
The rear parking lights come on with an animated greeting effect as on the RS models.
Rear parking lights on during the day
The rear parking lights are coded to stay on during daytime driving as well.
Low beam on headlight flash with the lights off
When the headlights are flashed with the lights in the off position, the low beams come on as well.
Comfort indicator count setting
The number of flashes given by a light touch of the stalk is set to 4 or 5.
Daytime running light control via the MMI
The option to switch the daytime running lights on and off is added to the MMI menu.
Motorway light activation
The motorway light, which provides additional illumination of up to 80 metres at speeds above 130 km/h, is brought into service.
Daytime running lights going out when the parking brake is applied
When the handbrake (parking brake) is applied, the daytime running lights switch off.

Video playback while driving (USB / SD / DVD)
On the wide-screen Harman Navigation Plus MMI, videos on a USB stick, SD card or DVD can be played while the car is moving; the phone screen is not mirrored.

The wireless connection, present as hardware in the car but disabled for licensing reasons, is enabled with original Audi software; CarPlay becomes usable both by cable and wirelessly, and on Android phones wireless Android Auto is also enabled.

Navigation activation
Navigation is enabled on the Harman Navigation Plus unit; the map is shown both on the MMI screen and in the instrument cluster.
Dual navigation activation
Navigation is activated so that the map is shown on both the infotainment screen and the digital cockpit.

Service / Maintenance
Software solution for the Audi SOS / Emergency Call Function fault
The warning "Emergency Call Function: Fault! Function not available" is cleared with special software loaded onto the SOS control unit (telematics ECU); depending on the customer's preference the system is either disabled completely or made to work again.
Permanently disabling the SOS system
Software is loaded onto the telematics unit so that the "Emergency Call Function Fault" warning on the screen is removed completely and the SOS system is taken out of service.
Bringing the SOS system back to active
The faulty SOS emergency call function is made to work again in software; it is a more extensive job in terms of labour and software.
