Gaziantep ECU Software
& Engine Calibration

The car's current condition, hardware and intended use are assessed together. After calibration the running parameters are checked and the result verified.

Performance is data, not guesswork.

Every job is assessed with the car's current condition and hardware in mind. After calibration the relevant running parameters are checked and the result verified.

How we work

01

Pre-check

Diagnostic scan, fault memory and an assessment of the car's mechanical condition.

02

Data logging

Logs are taken on the existing software; the baseline values are kept for comparison.

03

Calibration

Loading software prepared for the specific car and hardware configuration.

04

Verification

New logs are taken and compared with the earlier data; corrected if needed.

ECU calibration

The engine control unit decides, from its maps, how much fuel to deliver at any moment, what pressure the turbo will build and when ignition occurs. Calibration is the reworking of those maps around the car's hardware and intended use.

A job is not judged by model or engine code alone. The car's current condition, hardware and intended use are all taken into account.

Stage 1 and Stage 2

Stage 1 is calibration without hardware changes. It stays inside the limits of the factory hardware; the aim is a better response and torque curve within what the existing mechanical setup allows.

Stage 2 is prepared for the new configuration after hardware upgrades such as a downpipe or intercooler. Which level suits a car depends on its age, mileage and service condition.

Pre-check and backup

Before any software work we run a diagnostic scan, check live data and assess the car's mechanical condition. If the pre-check turns something up, we say it has to be fixed first.

The factory software in the control unit is read and stored before anything is changed. The car can be returned to stock whenever the owner asks.

Verification by datalog

During and after the work, boost target and actual, lambda, ignition timing, fuel pressure, intake air temperature and torque limits are followed on the logs.

These values show where in its comfort zone the engine is running. If anything deviates from expectation, the calibration is corrected accordingly. The datalog and diagnostics process is covered on a separate page.
