The number of flashes/duration of the touch comfort indicator is raised.
Daytime running light on/off menu via the MMI
A setting is added that allows the daytime running lights to be switched on and off from the MMI menu.
Motorway light activation
When the speed rises above 130 km/h, additional illumination comes on.
Daytime running lights going out when the parking brake is applied
When the handbrake is applied, the daytime running lights switch off automatically.
RS 5 style tail light animation
On standard A5s, the animated tail light greeting as on the RS 5 is enabled; when the car is unlocked from the remote in the dark, the rear tail lights flash in an animated sequence.

The warning "Emergency Call Function: Fault! Function not available" is cleared with special software loaded onto the SOS control unit (telematics ECU); depending on the customer's preference the system is either disabled completely or made to work again.
